- Thermouple protection tube.
- Thermocouple protection tubes are used to cover a type-k thermocouple inside a kiln to protect ware from small pieces of metallic oxide that can be shed from the thermocouple as the kiln fires.
- Thermocouple tubes are 12” long but be cut to length on a diamond saw. Inner diameter is .49” to accommodate a .46” diameter Type-K thermocouple.
- Tube are made from mullite and are rated to 2750 degrees Fahrenheit
