Ribbon Tools derive their name from the thin flat ribbon-like steel that is used to form their cutting heads.  These tools provide sharp cutting edges with additional strength in the direction of cut.

Combines imported hardwood modeling ends with sharpened stainless steel ribbon cutting ends.  The cutting ends are firmly attached with heavy brass ferrules.
