| The original 'REDHEAD' Immersion Slip Pump -
MEDIUM |
|

|
|
PUMPS 8 GPM This immersion-type REDHEAD slip Pump
enters the slip from the surface while suspended from the side of the
tank with a bracket arm. The motor and motor mount are above the
surface of the slip. The motor and pump impeller shafts are aligned as
one unit. There are no bearing or seals--except motor bearings--used.
Where the impeller shaft enters the impeller housing, Teflon stabilizer
rings are used. The unique REDHEAD Pump Support allows the pump and
motor to be perfectly aligned. The REDHEAD slip pump also does its own
agitation. This is accomplished by jet ports in the pump--much like a
whirlpool bath--which ejects jet streams of slip, keeping the slip in
constant gentle agitation. No air is picked up in the system. The slip
is pulled into the housing through the stainless steel screen on the
bottom and jetted out across the tank. All action is below the surface.
The pump is normally kept submerged in the slip--only being removed for
occasional cleaning. However, it can also be removed at any time and
used to pump slip from storage containers, mixers, or dump areas under
your drain tables.
